First Period Project

ICTs in education (schools):
-Projector: It is used for projecting the activities, presentations, etc that is in the teacher´s iPad, computer, etc.
-iPads: The students use the iPads for working on the programs, activities, etc in their respective iPads.
-Computers: Their used for the Computer Science class, for investigations, activities, learniing how to use them, presentations, etc.
-E-books: Are used in many schools because their more efficient and practical because their are in the iPad, instead of carrying them.
-Algebraix: The parents and teachers use this app because it reports every activity, homework, behavior, announcements, etc of the students.
- Dropbox: An app used for sending PDFs of the work.
- Goodnotes: Where you can do your class work or homework, it´s like a notebook, but digital.
-Keynote: Where you can make presentations in the iPad.
- Achieve3000: An app with many stories where you can read them, make a summary, questions and and opinion of the entire stoyry.

Conlusion: In my opinion, the ICTs are so useful and necessary for life, because we use them in education, entertainment, investigations, at work, hospitals, etc. Without ICTs it will be difficult and it would take a long time to search and investigate for information. It’s also important because it is useful at bussiness, for example to make a videoconference; also in hospitals, for example for registrations of the patients.

Areas where ICTs are used

4 Areas where ICT is used:

🔸Education:

 For example in schools, the students and teachers need computers for Computer Science Class.

• ICT in the iPads of the students ( eBooks, Online curses, online school, etc).
• ICT in the classrooms, for example the teacher with her laptop or the searchlight.
• 🔸Business:
• For working with computers in officines. 
• Technological advances.
• For video chat in conferences.
• 🔸Medicine
• For observing the baby ( ultrasound).
• In medicine for checking their bones.
• In the Body Scan is use the ICT, for checking your body.
• 🔸Entertainment 
• For communication and entertainment ICT is present in the social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc).
• For example, ICT is present in the video games, phone games (Candy Crush, Fortnite, etc).
• Another example is YouTube, Netflix, television programs, etc.

     Conclusion: ICT is used in daily life. In all the careers: business, medicine, art, etc. Also for entertainment: cinema, Netflix, YouTube, Facebook, well social media. In your house,school: eBook, online curses, searchlight.

      Internet is a globally connected network system that uses TCP/IP to transmit data via various types of media. The internet is a network of global exchanges – including private, public, business, academic and government networks. 

A browser is an application program that provides a way to look at and interact with all the information on the World Wide Web. Examples: Firefox, Google, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari.

A search engine is a software program or script available through the Internet that searches documents and files for keywords and returns the results of any files containing those keywords. Examples: Google, Yahoo, Ask, Bing, AOL.com

A cloud Service is any service made available to users on demand via the Internet from a cloud computing provider's servers as opposed to being provided from a company's own on-premises servers. Examples: Windows, Amazon, Google, ORACLE, Talk.

My favorite TV Show

REIGN

     It is about the life of Mary Stuart or also known as Mary Queen of Scots. It´s a short view of how was her stay in the french court with the Dolphin of France (her future husband), she has to have a baby, so she can secure her reign. She also has to deal with the protestants and Reverend John Knox in her return to scottish court.  She is arrested by her cousin Queen Elizabeth I of England. Long may she Reign! 

I like this TV Show because I like monarchies and history.

  Is a collection of computers, servers, mainframes, network devices, peripherals, or other devices connected to one another to allow the sharing of data, linked through cables, telephone lines, radio waves, satellites, or infrared light beams.
The main types of networks are LAN, MAN, WAN; there are also WLAN,PAN,CAN,SAN,POLAN, EPN, VPN.
The World Wide Web (WWW) is a wide-area hypermedia information retrieval initiative aiming to give universal access to a large universe of documents.

Information And Communication Technologies

   Information and Communication Technology are useful in many ways, for example in bussiness, schools, hospitals, etc.

Information technology is anything having to do with computer hardware, software, or networks used to store, create, secure, exchange, or access digital data. People use information technology for bussiness like programs or web pages like Wikipedia , etc. I use Information Technologies in school or my house, for investigations, homework, etc.

Communication technology are like mobile phones or the Web, something that requires experts for their proper functioning amidst a world that depends on remaining connected for business and social purposes. People use communication technology for bussiness, communication and interaction with other people, like email, marketing, social media, etc. I use communication technologies in my house or anywhere except for school, for communicating with people, for example the social media.
