Internet and Cloud Services
Internet is a globally connected network system that uses TCP/IP to transmit data via various types of media. The internet is a network of global exchanges – including private, public, business, academic and government networks.
A browser is an application program that provides a way to look at and interact with all the information on the World Wide Web. Examples: Firefox, Google, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari.
A search engine is a software program or script available through the Internet that searches documents and files for keywords and returns the results of any files containing those keywords. Examples: Google, Yahoo, Ask, Bing, AOL.com
A cloud Service is any service made available to users on demand via the Internet from a cloud computing provider's servers as opposed to being provided from a company's own on-premises servers. Examples: Windows, Amazon, Google, ORACLE, Talk.
